We the undersigned find Trophy Hunting KILL photos and images EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE and DISTURBING and we do NOT want to see them in our media stream anymore!
We implore you Mark Zuckerberg to not allow personal uploads of such photos under the grounds: That they depict and promote graphic violence and criminal behavior.
It is clearly stated in your Facebook Community Standards that you PROHIBIT the 'celebration of crimes committed" and we feel THIS absolutely without a doubt falls under that mantra! Especially since you actually mention "harm to animals' !
Every year, trophy hunters kill *thousands* of exotic wild animals, representing hundreds of different species, in foreign countries, primarily in Africa. They prefer to kill the most beautiful, the biggest and the rarest.
Wealthy trophy hunters pay big money to local cash-stripped governments for permits that grant them a choice of which animal to kill—There is also no regard for species protected under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) such as the African elephant or leopards. In fact, the more rare the animal, the more thrill to kill for the “big game” hunters.
Competition and Bragging rights (such as, posting their trophy's / KILLS on Facebook )
Trophy hunters do NOT CARE about conservation, the struggle for survival of many animals. What they care about is killing the biggest and the best, and bringing home full trophy mounts or body parts. And documenting such in photographs they can then share on facebook and other social media sites.
PLEASE SIGN AND HELP IN SOME SMALL WAY MAKE THESE SO CALLED ENTITLED MURDERERS WHO WANT TO "PLAY GOD" ONE LESS SPOTLIGHT!!
