Kassandra Marie Gonzalez is the reigning MAC Mid Atlantic Teen. Kassandra recently made an inappropriate comment of an old photo I was in and refered to me as an ugly bitch. Note: This is not the first time I have been harass or bashed by this young woman. This message was then tagged to a friend's facebook page. This post was also seen by my fellow sister queens, directors, judges and other pageant peers, some who are minors.
This behavior should not be tolerated, period. If Miss America were to make this comment to someone, she would lose her title immediately. All queens should be held to the same kind of accountability. This is a form of bullying, and we need to take a stand. When wearing a crown one should never, treat others with anything less than respect. One should not degrade, belittle or instigate negativity. Pageant community we have a responsibility to hold those accountable who abuse the use of the crown. Let's inspire, not conspire.
