On June 6, 2014, Taylor swift and her crew will be coming back to the Philippines as a a part of her third tour: The Red Tour. It is mainly sponsored by Selecta Cornetto, an ice-cream brand, or something.
Many Swifties, including I, were very happy and excited to see her again, yet at the same time, anxious. Why? Because for one, we have learned that our neighboring countries sold the ticktets within two hours after its release. And two, we were afraid that scalpers will be using us for their business.
And sad to say, as the day went on, more Swifties have cried than jumped for joy. Why? because of how slow the system is here in the Philippines. SM, a company chain of malls, or whatever they are, were the ones to sell the ticket, and thed had announced that the Red Tour tickets will be available BOTH in the cinema outlets around the country and their website, smtickets.com . "Your access to the most exciting events just got easier as online ticketing purchase," they said.
But they have failed to meet their motto, because like I said before, their system sucks. thirty minutes before the releasing of tickets, their website crashed. And it lasted for many hours. And I thought I could purchase the ticket easier. Well I thought wrong. Many people have thought wrong. We were ran out of tickets long before we knew it.
Also, fellow Swiftie from Baguio City cried, because she was unable to purchase a ticket in their local mall, even though she was one of those who waited long before the mall opened. Why? because the mall had a broken printer, and they could not print the tickets. And when they finally repaired it, or got a new one, the tickets were sold out.
Another one: A Swiftie complained that she was ran out of ticket, because of the man in front of her, who took so long to choose which seat will take. And not only that; the man purchased more than 40 tickets!
The hearts of us, Swifties, have been crushed. So please, we need a two-night concert here in Philippines, for those who REALLY wanted to see you, because we love you, and not for those who wanted to see you, because it's "cool."
No matter how EXPENSIVE the ticket prices are, we will still watch. We really love you, Taylor! Please have a two-night concert here.
