A sacred site of the Soux Indian tribes is being sold for development

I am a judge and cannot start this petition, for my canons of ethics forbid it.  I am presenting this -- perhaps there are others who will start it.
Nearly 2000 acres in the Black Hills of South Dakota are being sold for development.  The bidding starts Aug. 25!!!   The Great Soux Nation considers this a sacred site.  They are seeking donations to help them preserve the land -- to buy at least a part of it.

 For years they have been allowed to come on the land, which is privately owned, to perform sacred ceremonies.
