Demand Greater Traffic Calming & Pedestrian Safety in Millbrook Park Now!

The Inglis Way and Frith Lane NW7 are a speeder's paradise, too dangerous to cross and no consideration has been given to resident safety or safety of children attending the new Millbrook Park school. The Inglis Consortium & Barnet Council have ignored previous requests for traffic calming measures and crossing points along Inglis Way and Frith Lane, we are sick and tired of drivers speeding well above 30mph and putting our families and pets at risk.

We have put our views forward time and time again over the last 12 months and The Inglis Consortium turns a deaf ear to the problems, despite the face they collect over £500 a year from us in service charges and they hide behind a Managing Agent rather than engaging us directly.

In July a beloved pet cat was lost to a hit and run driver who was speeding on Inglis Way and took the racing line, as so many do.  Elderly people find it difficult to cross the road as there is no safe haven at the halfway point at regular intervals.  So many children and parents have had near misses and we want to make sure that no life is harmed or taken ever again in this neighbourhood.

We are campaigning for : a 20mph speed restriction, more crossing points by way of zebra crossing and islands which will also help keep drivers to their respective lanes, lane narrowing posts or speed cushions to force drivers down to 20mph.
