Tell Kevin McCarthy, "Goodbye and Good Riddance"

Republican extremists have succeeded in their effort to remove Kevin McCarthy as speaker. And we say, "good riddance." He has been a terrible speaker, he has kowtowed to the nuttiest of his nut-filled caucus, he has lied over and over again, and it's time for him to go.

The situation is still in flux, and there could always be someone worse as his successor, but given how bad McCarthy has been, we'll take that chance.
