STOP THE EXPLOITATION OF WOMEN IN AMERICA

Women have tolerated for centuries the abuse exuded towards them and blatantly, right here in America. The lack of truly valuing a woman in our society is more often than not, scooted under the rug and has become merely common place. Not only is there an unspoken, silent disrespect but it is also spoken loudly in the media including in commercials, movies, advertisements and magazines. Women have had their bodies exploited as sexual objects in a patriarichal society, and have not truly been valued from a balanced perspective. Have we all been brainwashed to believe that this is acceptable when we turn on the television, or pass a billboard or read a magazine? Does anyone else feel the way I do? Do you know your own value?
