Sign to Stop the Passage of Iowa Bill HF3
The Republicans in the Iowa Senate have proposed a bill, HF3, that would catastrophically limit the purchases of many items under the SNAP program. White bread, pasta, chili beans, fresh meat, and sliced cheeses will be prohibited items. Canned meat, like tuna and salmon, and canned vegetables and fruits are still okay. SNAP beneficiaries cannot have more than $2750 on hand or they will lose their benefits. They cannot have more than one vehicle in their household. Meanwhile, big banks were given TRILLIONS and large corporations are still receiving huge tax breaks and causing inflation, but people who have only $2800 and earn minimum wage cannot have a critical need met.
Please stand up for the people of Iowa before the Republicans in other states follow Iowa's lead.

We must keep the pressure on Iowa and all states to stop setting back the working people of our country, in whatever way they are hurting us.
