No Blood Money

Trump says we shouldn't punish the Saudi crown prince for ordering the murder of Jamal Khashoggi because he could cancel a big military aid package in retaliation. In other words, he is willing to let the crown prince off for blood money, a payment (by a murderer) to avoid punishment.
Besides the fact that Trump is saying that money is worth more to him than the man's life, letting a murderer get off goes against all ideas of justice. In fact, even the Romans wouldn't do it.
Demand that Congress lay heavy sanctions on Mohammed bin Salman and cancel the Saudi aid package.
