Unfortunately, 20,000 investors have lost their cash in the scam and government officials are struggling to save the abandoned emus.
Indians are generally uncomfortable with emu meat and eggs, and there is no demand for them in their country. Emu farms built as part of the Ponzi scheme are poorly designed and constructed, and investors were not educated on how to properly care for the birds.
There is no need for emu farming to continue in India, and allowing the practice will enable future scams of this nature. Please sign the petition to convince the Indian Prime Minister to ban emu farming in India.
