Ban Conversion Therapy-Ban Intolerance

Conversion therapy is used to condition homosexual, bisexual, transgender, gender-queer, and others into exhibiting heterosexual behaviors to "cure" them of homosexuality. The methods used are unethical, ranging from electric shock therapy to drug-induced nausea during forced self-induced pleasure. They are conditioned to shy away from who they are and to feel shamed and fearful. They lose their right of self-expression and discrimination continues to plague our society. We need to ban this inhumane and ineffective legal form of torture.
