Swarkestone Causeway Traffic nightmare

I have now had to endure setting off for work 90 minutes before I'm due to go to work like thousands of you who navigate the Swarkestone Causeway and bridge everyday . The tailbacks in the morning coming from Melbourne are a disgrace and it's getting worse . Buses . Lorry's and the silly little one lane of traffic section on the bridge all add to the tailbacks .. Why oh Why can't you DERBY COUNCIL . MPS etc widen the bridge this has been done several times in the past even with its grade 1 status . If you cannot do this then why not lobby for a new relief bypass road in order for the bridge to be bypassed ??

I'm at my Witt's end as are thousands of other you other tax payers on there way to and from work in this location .

I have never complained about anything in my life but this is just a complete joke. Join with me in this ..... Enough is Enough !!
