People Against Commuting Blagojevich

Their is no question about the guilt of Rod Blagojevich. He was caught in efforts to sell Barack Obama’s vacated sentence seat. His violation of his fiduciary duties to the people of Illinois were far more extensive. Blagojevich, as part of the Senate seat sale, bargained for a cushy title with no work job for his wife Patti. His lust for money was so depraved he even did a shake down of Children’s Memorial Hospital. It is a special level of depravity for a politician to place his greed ahead of the needs of sick and dying children. Blagojevich promised to help fix the Illinois pension system. While he alone cannot be blamed for the fiasco of Illinois finances, he helped to build this mess brick by brick.
