Tell U.S Companies who do business in China to speak out against animal cruelty

Laws against animal cruelty do not exist in many countries around the world, but for some reason the most wide-spread cruelty goes on in Asian countries like China, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and more. The Yulin Dog and Cat Torture Festival in Yulin, China and the Bok-nal event in South Korea are just a few of many examples of State-condoned animal cruelty in Asia. I believe the best way to cause change in protecting the rights of animals against cruelty is through our international trade and business avenues.

The U.S and it's companies are very influential in that region for now, but won't be forever, and should not continue to condone animal cruelty by staying silent. If the top 10 U.S companies who do business in Asia were to speak out against animal cruelty publicly I believe the governments of those countries will be more likely to listen on these issues than to animal activists alone. My petition will be delivered to the CEO's of America's top 10 companies doing trade in Asia (i.e. Apple, Boeing, Starbucks, GM, and Walmart) and telling them that we as consumers want them to speak out about animal cruelty issues publicly and to do it NOW! Please sign my petition.
