Make animal abuse a FELONY NOW, Please???

I am so tired of animal abusers getting a slap on the hand and really not much else for torturing and abusing poor defenseless animals...These abusers keep doing this because they can and it seems no one cares enough to stop them.  If the people would just make animal abuse a felony, these abusers would stop doing it because they would be prosecuted and be put behind bars, once and for all defenceless animals.  It's a good thing.
