Electric Transportation Device (ETD) Riders' Rights = Electric Bicyclists' Rights

The City of Ashland, Oregon has created designated zones in the downtown area for skateboarders that are unfair. Intelligent Planners in world class cities are embracing Electric Transportation Devices, i.e .OneWheels, Segways, etc. to reduce congestion on streets and to free up parking. Residents and non-residents alike who would like to adopt Electric Skateboards as an alternative form of transportation to do their banking, etc. are prohibited to use the bicycle routes. Hence, Electric Skateboarders are forced to drive their cars into town, thereby compounding health and safety problems. Allowing Electric Skateboarders to respectfully share the bicycle paths in the commercial district will make the City of Ashland more welcoming.
