The first Die Hard remains one of, if not THE best action movies ever made. It works on every level, Action, Comedy, Suspense and of course a feel good Christmas fun!
One of the best parts of the original Die Hard was the superb Reginald VelJohnson playing Sgt. Al Powell. I don't think I am telling tales out of school here by saying I was disappointed with A Good Day to Die Hard, but if the producers of the inevitable next Die Hard film bring back Mr. VelJohnson, I believe the series can return to what it once was! (And by the time this goes into production, Twinkies should be back on the market!)
(And of course, 20th Century Fox, feel free to hit me up if you are having trouble finding someone to write the script, I'm young and cheap!)
