The service is the only route that serves residents in Cunninghamhead, home to many elderly and retired people. Public Transport must be regulated to ensure vulnerable residents are not further isolated in their communities and are able to travel freely to visit friends, relatives, get to work and access services located in larger towns and communities.
Last year Drybridge residents were faced with a similar fears that the 21 bus route would be removed by Stagecoach.But the service was saved by SPT after a campaign by residents and politicians.

We the undersigned, ask Shuttle & SPT to reconsider the termination of the commercial and subsidised 13/113 services and urge both parties to liaise with community groups and local authorities to reach a solution that sees the residents of the affected communities benefit from a public trnasport service that meets everyones needs.
