DAPA PRESENTATION
We are living in a little village in the Andean Colombian mountains, named Dapa.
Near us, 7 kilometers, there are a big manufacturer cluster named Yumbo. We can find there, at least 1200 factories, you can imagine the pollution impact in all the region. By the way, we need support to design and present to Yumbo Authorities, several Warm Global Control Plans to reduce emissions impact.
Our modus Vivendi is tourism. Cali, is a 2 million people city, located in a plateau land, near our village 20 minutes by car, having a yearly average temperature of 28 Celsius degrees. We have a climate of 18 Celsius. Saturdays and Sundays people from Cali comes to us to enjoy fresh climate, beautiful landscape of the mountains and gastronomy regional specialties.
Cause of contamination we%u2019ve had to move our businesses %u201Chigh to the mountain%u201D. Our people knows directly the enemy , Warm Global, Climate Change and Pollution effects, they suffer displacement for surviving.
We consider to educate new generations in sustainable development, based on Social Responsible Corporate philosophy from the tourism industry ( To include poor people in the development programs for better quality of life. These programs are to educate them as hosts for European visitors ( Scandinavian, Germans, Swiss ) and for children and young people, providing sustainable knowledge, skills, values and practices in the classrooms, in alliance with the educational authorities in the region.
Dapa Travel & Tourism Industry Association presented a three years Project, to develop an Ecological Tourism Regional Destination in our Zone. The Project include in the proposals a Ropeway, we would have a massive transport to move people high in the mountain, and a big parking place will be used to left cars, in order to reduce CO2 emissions. Private initiative built an Ecological Sanctuary Park with a 3 kilometer footpath for hiking from 1300 meters over sea level to 2400 meters high. Watching Butterflies, Birds and Wildlife.
To mitigate poverty there are a Proposal to introduce Delta Flights, Parapente, Archery, Mountain board, Ski on Grass, Paintball and other attractions to include new Jobs in these activities.
