U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas thinks gay marriage will destroy the “health” of our society

-Republican Senator Ted Cruz, 10.6.14.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas thinks that our recent victories for marriage equality will destroy the “health” of our society. But he doesn’t stop there. 

He’s so furious about same-sex couples being granted the right to marry that he plans to introduce a sweeping federal constitutional amendment to end marriage equality in the United States, removing federal recognition of existing marriages and perhaps even unmarrying thousands of same-sex couples who have been legally wed in their states. 

We can’t let Sen. Cruz get away with this—not when same-sex couples are still denied marriage rights in 18 states.
