Poinciana Little league is a part of a very special community. This is a small town with a little league that means so much to so many people that live here and the kids that reside in this town. When we think of this community we think of team, and we think of village because it takes a village to build our youth into successful individuals. What we have found with our local little league has been constant disappointment and let downs from a management standpoint. So many families have been pushed away to different leagues and our league is deprived of coaches and so many talented kids because our management fails to produce. Our management up until very recently, approximately as of 5/20/2022 has had a President and significant other, as the only 2 members allowed to be on the board. As soon as questions started they handpicked and hand selected their closest trustees and announced that the board had been fairly voted in. So many people have been apart of this league for years and will be apart of this league for years to come, and we deal with constant lying about money and numbers, rudeness and verbal abuse to coaches and volunteers and also many concerns are raised about them operating the 501c3 as their personal business and stealing money from the league. They have even left the league with no season in fall 2021 because people refuse to sign up because of them. What we want, is for Tomas Gomez and Christina Rodriguez to resign and allow for a complete rebuild of the league board to be done fairly by vote where nominees can be voted in fairly by the community and league participants. We want an open book policy that can explain and justify why we are constantly left short of money and left with no fields or no lights to practice with and also most importantly why they continuously push people away and people refuse to come back. Help Us remove the president and his significant other from the reigns of the league so we can rebuild the structure the proper way and put an end to the racketeering. We just want to take our league back for our children and make it great and have it structure the way little league prides it self. We ask for signatures to show that everyone stands with us and want whats best for the league and we all agree the current president needs to be replaced and we are hoping this brings our league back to life.
