Demand Mandatory National Diversity Training for all Police

Each day in America we see footage of black men and women being harassed, beaten, and in some cases even killed by it racially and or diversity ignorant police officers. Police officers are Social service Personnel.personnel,

Nurses, Social workers, Teachers counselors I’ll have to be certified in crisis prevention intervention, must be competent in working with culturally different individuals but not the police.

In the event that one of the aforementioned professionals responds to a patient or client that results in injury (physical, psychoemotional) that individual as well as the team are held accountable.

Accountability could result in further training, demotion or termination for all individuals involved. The individual (s) are deemed ineligible for employment within their role.

Imagine the impact this would have on the manner in which police engage with Black & Brown persons.
