Stop The Nuisance Air B&B Property

The Law allows and the property does have the appropriate city Licenses for an Air B&B, but the property is a Nuisance to the neighborhood. The majority of the renters are either college age, or people who just want a house with a pool to throw a wild party. The Property owner is never there. The person who leases from the owner operates the property as an Air B&B. The 2 bedroom unit is to have no more then 4-5 adults and 2-3 children. The amount of people attending the parties thrown by the number up the 30's and 40's at time. City Ordinances allow 1 1/2 amount of Guests of the registered guests. In other words, 4 renters equal 6 guests. Also City Ordinances require not to hear continuous noise, music or sound between the hours of 10pm until 7am from a distance of 25 ft. or more. The entire neighborhood can hear the noise when the party starts. Where does it end? We had a nice, quiet neighborhood. The owner doesn't care how many times the Police are called as long as his rent is paid. The next Air B&B could be next to your property. Let's put this Nuisance property to rest once and for all!!!
