My SAR K9 partner Z'ev needs a moment of your time to save his Life by signing this petition!
I am seeking help to demand justice in the unfair and illegal seizure of my working K9 partner SAR dog by local animal control and police officers.
Allegedly a complaint was made by neighbors of a dog "at large" and because it is known I have working K9s, the local Sheriff's deputy came by my house first demanding to see my dog's approximately around 8 pm.
My dog's had not been loose and I explained this to the deputy. My dogs are kenneled inside my home.
Out of fear and feeling intimidated I agreed to show the deputy my dogs, indicating for the deputy to stay on my porch. We had 5 day old puppies at the time and do not allow people inside our home in general. Without me realizing it, the officer followed me into my home. Resulting in being bitten by my 3 year old SAR K9 Partner after walking up behind me.
So in fact the officer entered my home without permission or without a warrant. By doing this, she violated my 4th amendment rights against illegal searches and seizures.
Now local authorities want my working K9 partner deemed viscous and euthanized for protecting his home. Even though under Louisiana law working K9s and SAR dogs are exempt from persecution.
Please help demand the safe return of my SAR K9 partner who trained hard to be an asset to the community in searching for missing people.
