Demand the Tenants of 164 Linden Blvd Get Repairs and Extermination

    164 Linden Boulevard Community Petition

    We, the community support the The 164 Linden Boulevard Tenant Association, in it’s demand that their M&I Management which is owned by Mike and Steve Spera , provide consistent extermination, a new door and intercom system, and make all necessary repairs immediately!

    We the community demand a brand new, modern front door and intercom system. Tenants have been locked in and out of the building because the current front door is broken beyond repair.

    We the community demand that our landlord, M&I Management, provide the tenants of 164 Linden Blvd with high-quality, consistent, monthly, building-wide extermination over the course of two days – on a weekday and a weekend day –to respect the religious and cultural diversity of the building.

    Tenants have reported to the 164 Linden Boulevard Tenant Association that there is an ongoing bedbug and pest problem due to lack of consistent, building-wide extermination. The current exterminator used by M&I Management has clearly proven ineffective. The Tenants Association has received complaints of bedbugs in several apartments and as of today the building as a whole has yet to be treated properly.

    In addition, there have also been numerous complaints of inadequate repairs, including collapsing ceilings, broken door frames, and broken windows throughout the building. The tenants also demand that the management clean the excessive bird feces from all window ledges and fire escapes.

    There have also been complaints about inconsistent heat and hot water, as well as dirty water. We demand that M&I management carry out necessary repairs throughout the building in a timely manner.

    We the community also demand that that building is properly maintained, that hallways and staircases are regularly swept and mopped, and hallways be free of debris and clutter.

    We the community demand that all maintenance workers and superintendents hired by the landlord be licensed, competent, responsive and highly skilled

    We the community, support , The 164 Linden Tenant Association demand that M & I Management begin to rectify all of our complaints by July 2019.
