Even when the one HOH is dethroned, one still remains with two usually weak players. Even if the power of veto is used to take on weak player down, there is still the chance of the house voting out the weaker player who instead of the stronger one. Overall, when there is the BOTB twist, less game moves are likely to be made and America wants to watch interesting gossip not a repetitive pattern
