Declare all the lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, leopards, and giraffes living in the national parks and game reserves as protected species under South African law

Animals living in protected areas are not completely safe. If they leave protected areas, and wander outside into neighboring areas, they may be at risk of being shot for sport, or for their body parts. Even in protected areas, they might be at risk of poachers coming in to kill them. So, I believe that it is vital to declare these animals as protected species under South African law.
