Stand With Edward Snowden and Help Stop NSA Abuses
Edward Snowden stepped forward, at great personal risk, and blew the lid off of the NSA's out-of-control spying. Snowden's actions follow in a strong tradition of American whistleblowing. That's why the ACLU is providing legal counsel to Snowden as he is being pursued by the most powerful government in the world.
It is vital that as many Americans as possible stand with the ACLU in saying that we won't let the NSA's illegal and unconstitutional activities continue—and we won't let our government trample on our freedoms or on Snowden's rights.
We're urging everyone to declare with one united voice: We are Snowden.
Edward Snowden is a whistleblower who did a great service for our country. Rather than ending the massive, unconstitutional and illegal spying operation he exposed, our government is trampling on his rights as it continues to run roughshod over ours. It's unconscionable and we won't stand for it.
We are whistleblowers.
We are defenders of freedom.
We are Snowden.
