End State-Sanctioned Racial Discrimination in Australia!

Although Australia's population is made up of people of many diverse ethnicities, its Constitution still condones racism and encourages discrimination against its indigenous peoples. This needs to change now.
Aboriginal Australians' fight for equal treatment and respect is coming to a head in next year's general election, with a referendum to finally recognize them as the nation's first people.
The referendum also aims to end racist clauses still currently on the Constitution, including Section 25, which permits states to deny voting rights to people based on their race, and Section 51, which allows states to reserve the right to refuse residence or jobs to non-white Australians.
State-sanctioned racism has no place in modern Australia. Tell Parliament to stand for civil rights in Australia and commit their support for this long overdue referendum.
