Save 70-Year-Old Sharon Bullington And Her Terminally Ill Husband From Foreclosure

Bank of America is currently threatening foreclosure on an elderly Florida woman and her terminally ill husband--because they paid their mortgage a week early.
Sharon Bullington, who is her illness-stricken husband's only caregiver, paid her January mortgage on December 23. Then, when she tried to pay for her February mortgage in January, she got her routing number wrong, an error she didn't find out about until weeks later. In March, the bank ejected them from their low-payment program.
With James's high medical bills, this made maintaining their mortgage impossible.
"It's like death to me," Sharon told the St. Petersburg Times. "My husband is bedridden. It's almost more than I can bear."
Bank of America shouldn't be punishing the elderly for easily fixable clerical errors. Tell CEO Brian Moynihan to drop the foreclosure and let the Bullingtons keep their home!
Your recent decision to foreclose on the homes of Sharon and James Bullington shows a marked lack of compassion and foresight.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, the Bullingtons' only error was attempting to maintain their mortgage payments in a timely, responsible manner. Sharon Bullington's alleged routing number error should have been an easily fixable mistake--not cause for effectively kicking the Bullingtons out of their home.
Sharon Bullington is her terminally ill husband's only caregiver. To turn them onto the street for the sake of Bank of America's greed is unconscionable. I urge you to drop the foreclosure today.
