Tell Rick Scott to Stop Silencing Voters

Governor Rick Scott is deliberately trying to make it harder for Floridians to vote.
In 2012, he refused to extend early voting and forced people to stand in lines for up to nine hours to cast their ballots. This year, he’s refusing to let University of Florida students vote on their own campus.
Scott’s approach is targeted at people who are likely to vote against him – those who can’t afford to be out of work to wait in line and students who tend to be liberal. It’s a gross misuse of power, and it has to be stopped.
Charlie Crist is running against Scott and has a long history of empowering voters. In 2008, he extended voting hours when Floridians infamously waited for hours to cast their ballots. And part of his platform is to extend early voting, expand vote-by-mail, and allow Floridians to vote where it’s most convenient for them.
Add your name to tell Rick Scott that governmental leaders are supposed to empower their constituents, not silence them out of fear of losing their position in office.
