Extreme Makeover: AIG Edition

We the people now own 80% of American International Group (AIG) thanks to our nearly $200 billion bailout "bonus." Everyone likes to make a clean start, so what better way to launch our new relationship with AIG than to give our purchase a new name?

Fill out the form below to submit your new name for AIG. We'll take submissions through April 6. Care2 will choose our favorite 20 ideas from all submissions and then ask you, the American people, to vote for AIG's new name. On tax day, April 15, we will deliver the winner to the Obama administration as a written request from American taxpayers to rename AIG ... now that we own them.
