A man, in broad daylight, seemingly lost his cool with his dog and tore into it in front of horrified onlookers and cameras. The unidentified man was filmed
picking up the dog by its ears and collar and bringing the dog close to his face as if it were issuing it a threat. Then, the poor pooch, hanging by its collar still, is thrown against a nearby fence. The thug tops of his streak of abuse by punching the pup in its head. When video went public, those who saw it took to social media to demand justice. And so far it seems like it is working. The Dorset Police have issued a call for help to find the abuser. That is encouraging news, but as so often happens in animal abuse cases, there's a chance this case could be swept aside. Animal abuse cases rarely stay on the minds of law enforcement for very long so it is important to make sure the Dorset Police know we are watching, we support their search for the abuser and we want them to continue to look.
