The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is currently initiating an inquiry into the TV ratings system that specifically targets LGBTQ content.

By questioning whether issues of gender identity should trigger special "warning labels" for parents, the government is moving to stigmatize transgender and non-binary people and treat their existence as "inappropriate."
