Stop new puppy mill

Please stop a puppy mill from being built under the pretense of being a legitimate kennel by revoking the use permit you approved for Harvey Block. The owner is planning to debark his breeding dogs so as not to disturb the nearby residents.
The kennel mill will hold 600 dogs in deplorable conditions.



Debarking is done quickly and
cheaply by ramming a piece of pipe down the wretched dog's throat to rip out
its vocal cords. The pain is horrible and many dogs have their jaws broken or
are killed doing this.



Poor quality food, dirty water, crowded
cages, over-breeding, in-breeding, minimal to no veterinary care, and a lack of
socialization is what an animal in a puppy mill is submitted to. The puppies are
the lucky ones! The breeding animals will continue to suffer in wretched
conditions until they are no longer able to breed and are killed or die. The USDA
does not have enough inspectors to cite violations and enforce that the
problems are remediated.
