Illinois Deserves Better than Rauner's Budget Mess!

The budget that was passed last week after 736 days without funding was done with absolutely no help from Bruce Rauner - he literally tweeted a photo sitting at his desk alone unwilling to do anything to help solve the mess he created.

Though Illinois finally has a budget, Bruce Rauner's manufactured crisis has caused damage that cannot be undone for the people and families of this state.

Enough is enough.

Bruce Rauner has led the state to a $14.7 billion in unpaid bills. The interest on state debt continues to skyrocket, and local governments across the state have been forced to raise taxes. Social services agencies have closed, impacting countless families across Illinois. Local students have fled to go to colleges in other states, and we've lost opportunities for job creation.
