We Must Protect These Brave Individuals

As Americans, we understand the importance of a government that is run by the people and for the people. We also understand that without a system to hold that government accountable, it will abuse its power to the detriment of the people.

And sometimes, against all odds, the rare person from inside the government comes forward to sound the alarm on this abuse — and find themselves under threat from even the highest offices in the nation.

That's why we must protect whistleblowers! They need a safe, effective environment to come forward and raise awareness of the wrongdoing they witness.

Whistleblowers are our first line of defense against waste, fraud, and abuses of power in the federal government and we stand with their bravery in fighting to expose the facts. The truth is their priority and the truth is our priority.

Currently, they face intense scrutiny, threats of termination, and loss of livelihood. Congress must protect these brave truth-tellers!
