Support critical cancer research for people like Erin

Erin was 13 weeks into a greatly welcomed second pregnancy when she woke up one morning with a swollen armpit. Erin was worried about the swelling under her arm.

When the doctor first told her she had treat triple negative breast cancer Erin didn't think she'd heard correctly.

Erin's greatest fear is that she won't be around to watch her babies grow up.

But Erin's story, and the story of tens of thousands of breast cancer survivors, is a story of hope. Thanks to cancer research and successful prevention and treatment programs, 90% of women diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia today will survive for five years or longer.

There is still work to be done. More than 30,000 women will die from breast cancer in 2018. That's why Cancer Council NSW is committed to finding the best ways to reduce the impact of breast cancer. And we need your help to do it.

Cancer Council NSW helps make groundbreaking research possible - like advanced treatments for breast cancers  that are not responsive to traditional treatments, and identifying the genetic pathways that turn normal breast cells into cancer cells.

We need your voice and support for this important research. Will you take action today and pledge to support critical cancer research?
