I support CUE's proposals in 2003-4 Bargaining:
WAGES:
>Improve wages for all by providing 3% Cost of Living; adding one full step at top of each range, effective 10/1/2003.
>Make equity adjustments for all Library Assistants who have been historically left behind and for police dispatchers who have not yet received them.
>Establish a pay range for Assistant IV series at every campus, hospital, and laboratory.
>Increase shift differential to 15% for evening and 20% for night shifts
Elimination of incentive awards where they still exist
HEALTHCARE:
>Prevent increased costs for healthcare coverage
>Re-introduce one, fully employer-paid health plan
>Increase options in rural areas
PARKING:
>Introduce sliding scale for parking rates with no increases
>Increase UC support for alternative transportation by providing rebates to non-parkers
