After almost a year of working to protect Warm Springs, SLC's consideration for residential development there has ended!
To every one of you that signed the petition (3,596), shared and commented, THANK YOU! Now, the REAL work begins as we roll up our sleeves and focus on creating what so many have dreamed about for so long.
The most important next thing to do is sign up for updates about ways you can get involved.

The Warm Springs site at 840 North Beck St. in Salt Lake City has always been about community.
From the use of the springs by indigenous people, then early Mormon settlers, to municipal pools that many still fondly remember, to the well-loved Children's Museum, the area has served as a vibrant gathering place for hundreds of years.
With the historic building in disrepair, the City opened a request for proposals in 2016. It chose one response for further review, which is now underway. Sadly, that proposal suggests the construction of a large apartment building behind the historic building that is completely out of touch with the historical and community significance of the building and grounds.
Who can sign? Anyone. This is not a ballot initiative, it's a grassroots movement of people who care about Warm Springs and want to visit regularly to soak in the springs, and gather with community. For more information visit WarmSpringsAlliance.org
We, the undersigned, petition Salt Lake City to reject the current proposal for residential development at 840 North Beck St. We ask the city to consider new proposals that restore the historic building, while maintaining community use of the site.
