Water can't wait

It's time for urgent collective action on water and climate – and COP30 (a critical global climate conference) is a key opportunity to accelerate real change.
WaterAid has brought together a group of 18 young water and climate campaigners who have set out their call to action for governments heading to COP30 in Brazil later this year.
Stand with them by signing their letter today – because water can't wait.
We are a group of young water and climate leaders bringing together the voices of young people from around the world to unite behind a simple message: change starts with water.
Together, we're calling on all political leaders attending COP30 to take urgent action to tackle the water and climate crisis. To prioritise the money, skills and technology needed to deliver real change for the most affected communities, which, unjustly, are the ones that contributed the least to the crisis.
Today, almost 1 in 10 people don't have access to clean water – and climate change is making this much worse.
Tackling the effects of the climate crisis is essential for our existence. With the world at a tipping point, it's time for urgent, collective action on water and climate. COP30 in Brazil represents a critical opportunity to accelerate change, and we need a fusion of strong will and decisive action.
We're counting on you to deliver it.
