I am the mother of three daughters. We are all well aware of the elevated risks we all face accepting rides from ride share companies like Uber, Lyft, and in the case of NYC, Juno. We have been discussing the latest nightmare that has befallen a young college student in South Carolina, and we have an action plan for a petition. Women, of any age, of any walk of life, and in any geographic location, should have the choice to choose a "female" driver when ordering a ride share. Not only would this greatly reduce the fears we have and greatly reduce the risk of harm to females, but all companies who offer this choice would improve their brand, name, and image 10-fold. This would also open up an entire brand of business for female entrepreneurs - Women for Women Ride Share here in the United States, and across the globe. Won't you please help me by signing the petition and spreading the word?
