Have you ever experienced a situation where you, your family, or someone you know has had their health or safety put at risk because of the negligence of the ones in charge? Have you ever felt like no matter how much you try to seek change & justice, it feels like your voice is never heard? This is our current reality at Vanderbilt Lodge Apartments in Houston, TX. Two short months after signing our lease we had mold like the image you see above, growing out of EVERY air vent in our loft. That was almost 8 months ago, and to this day, nothing has been done about it. Upon further research, I discovered the tenant who lived here before us had the same issue and he too was ignored by the ones in charge. Furthermore, after talking to a few neighbors and my pharmacist (she apparently used to live here too) I discovered they all are going through (or had gone through) the same thing. How are these people still allowed to be in business?
This is why I respectfully ask YOU today to SIGN OUR PETITION as we DEMAND a STOP to this gross negligence. This is an effort to bring AWARENESS and CLARITY to the ones who have the power to MAKE THIS RIGHT!
My family and I have been dealing with this issue for 7 to 8 months and through our journey, we keep meeting others who have experienced the SAME ISSUE with this complex. Through our efforts to bring light to this most unhealthy matter, we are asking for your help and signature on this petition in an effort to DEMAND CHANGE and a STOP to this type of negligence and disregard for the health and well being of the current and future tenants of Vanderbilt Lodge.
