We refuse to buy a 'new' petroleum powered vehicle.
 Common sense/simple logic:
 
 I would rather support my local car manufacturer, than the oil industry.

 I (the originator of this petition) make my own power from wind and sun and have for 30 years. Don't tell me I cant change, and cant make my own clean power for my own (purchased not leased) vehicle, your to late, I already know I can.

 And my money does not support the coal industry, I spend it in my community (gee what a concept... jobs)!
 
 If I have to keep buying gas (which I think 'wind' will be around longer?) then it will take me many more years to be able to afford to get another NEW CAR!
 I 'WANT' to support the auto industry, buying gasoline prevents me from that much money, I could save to spend on a new car (automakers do you want us to support the oil industry or YOU?! This is your choice right?).

 Simple logic, help us, help our automotive industries that provide jobs.
 Because I REFUSE to buy a new car until it is all electric and reliable (so don't make one you know wont work so you can prove to us they don't)
 We already know we have the technology (its to late to say we don't).
 
 If those who sign also agree with the above simple logic, please add your thoughts.

 But the ONLY THING those who are signing are agreeing to (to motivate the auto industry):

   We, the undersigned, agree that we will never buy another 'new' vehicle that uses petroleum for its power so we can sooner afford our next new car (just that simple).
