Hit and Run Drivers Maximum Sentencing Petition
Maximum Sentencing needs increase in Pa. for Hit and Run drivers or EVERYONE will run!
We the undersigned request that Chapter 37 Miscellaneous Provisions Accidents involving death or personal injury be revised.
THIS LAW NEEDS REVISED!
The current penalty for this is no less than one year imprisonment and $2,500.00 minimum fine.
I am petitioning to change this law to five years in prison and $5000.00 minimum fine.
The current law does not fit the crime when someone is obviously left for dead.

My nephew Josh had a promising future ahead of him but was left to die in a puddle of frozen blood after being struck by a passing by motorist while walking.
The driver only got 364 days and some fines! Please help me change this law in honor of and for
"Justice for Josh".
