Pavement parking is a nuisance. And not only that, it can make our streets unsafe.

It causes problems for everyone walking but especially disabled people, people with pushchairs and older people.

Pavement parking is already illegal in London, while in Scotland they are close to a nationwide ban. Meanwhile, we hear that the Department for Transport has said it is considering new rules to stop vehicles blocking pavements in England and Wales – but we need to see action.
