Demand justice by petitioning Atlanta Police Department to reopen the investigation of the officer involved murder of a 21yo Marine, Willie Lockett, Jr. on Dec. 24, 1971

My older brother, Willie "Hunk" Lockett, Jr, whom I never met, but I resemble in my younger years, was out with friends in Atlanta. He goes into a store & purchase an item. At the same time, there was a robbery in the area. My bother comes out the store jogging to catch up with friends(male/female). The police sees him and "mistakes" him for the robbery suspect. They shot him multiple times & hit him with their car. The wrong name was put in the papers and the case was swept under the rug. My family never got clear answers, nor any justice ⚖️. When this happened I wasn't born yet. It has been almost 50 years ago and my brother, his wife, two sons(both retired from the military), family & friends are still waiting on justice ⚖️.
