Smart Car Issues & Problems

We purchased a Mercedes Benz  " Smart Car " with 3,200 miles, currently we have just over 10,000 miles.  Since purchase we have endured numerous problems, most serious, a noxious burning odor which is a danger to our health. Mercedes Benz concluded that the vehicle was not repairable and agreed to a replacement agreement which we accepted. However, Mercedes, for unknown reasons, backed out of their agreement and refused to honor their own written agreement. Since our frustration with Mercedes Benz we have become " Buy American " proponents
We want to petition Mercedes Benz  to do the right thing and address Customer Relations problems. We would like all parties who have had issues with Mercedes Benz and/or the Smart car manufactured  by Mercedes Benz to come forward with their issues so we can get Mercedes Benz to become more proactive in the resolution of problems with their customers.
