Investigate Pennsylvania's Corrupt Children and Youth Agencies

When most people think of Children and Youth agencies, they would most likely think any state funded and operated agency helps stop child abuse and neglect, and it's is a good thing.

In 1997, AFSA (Adoption and Safe Families Act) was signed into Federal law. PA must make amendments to this atrocious Act. It promotes adoption (even when there is ZERO evidence of abuse or neglect) over a family's rights. Children and Youth agencies are the first responders in the web of corruption.

The typical scenario: A call is placed to an agency or Child Line, usually anonymous. The callers often (80-90% of cases are unfounded) either have unsubstantial evidence to make such claims. In most cases, however, the calls are made out of malice. One day, you get a knock upon your door. It's Children and Youth, and they want to come in the home. They do not have a warrant, but you're not hiding anything, so you let them in. They're SUPPOSED to tell you what you're alleged to have done, but they do not. They're "investigating", and they "just want to make sure everything is okay". A few days go by, and you receive a letter stating that you are an unfit parent and your child faces the risk of being adopted unless you meet THEIR "Service Goals". What are the reasons? You have a "filthy house". Strange, since you has just cleaned that morning and only had 2 "dirty" coffee cups in the sink. Did someone report you for hoarding? Failing to raise your child in a clean, healthy environment? No. And you will never be told the actual reason-- there usually is NONE. Only the ones they fictitiously create. The callers are usually malicious people trying to seek revenge on YOU-- and they'll anonymously harass you through your children. They don't know what they've done. Now you're jumping through hoops for their "safety goals", which you often have to pay for out of pocket. They'll attempt to put you and your child on medications which you most likely do not need. They can be expensive and they may even harm you. They'll twist your words. They'll stand you up at a meeting with them-- one of which you took time off work for. They'll say that YOU never accomplished their goals, even though you were never given the option to obtain their services. The worst part is-- they're the friendly "child protectors" in front of a judge, and you're the "abuser" or neglecter, for whatever you have been accused of. You are not given due process, and you're guilty until proven innocent with Children and Youth. This doesn't make ANY sense to a rational person. FOLLOW THE MONEY and it will, in a sickening way that most people never knew.

If PA's residents and government staff were aware of Children and Youth agencies involvement in corruption, we all would be forced to witness REAL crimes: Human trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, money kickbacks, harassment, and blatant Constitutional Rights violations. It's sickening to know that malice and greed are combined. Your child is for sale. THIS MUST STOP.

Did you know that for every child that a single county's Children and Youth agency "adopts"/removes from the child's natural family WITHOUT DUE PROCESS, an average of $4,000 is given to the county alone? Where is the money going? Why has no one else asked?

It was only a few years ago that Kids For Cash scandal surfaced in Luzerene County, PA. We're calling on ALL counties to investigate the denial of children's human rights that PA imposes on children. We need to take a close look at PA's unknown Kids for Cash programs-- Children and Youth certainly meets that criteria.

We can make a difference. We CAN create actual justice in government agencies who cause more harm than good. We MUST stand in the face of veiled government agencies to protect our children.

Tom Corbett, you MUST amend AFSA to protect our children from being sold. You MUST look into EVERY county's C&Y agencies. We REFUSE to be harassed, defamed, and have even the threat of our children taken away, all in the name of the almighty dollar.
