Raise the Shelter Rates for those living in poverty in Ontario

I dare you to try to find an apartment to rent in Ontario for under $385 a month. As a single person, living on assistance, that is what your expected to do. It is near impossible for those marginalized individuals to raise themselves out of poverty given the systematic financial constraints which continually places them in crisis and without housing. It's not political, it's basic human decency. We need to be doing more to care for each other and giving a voice to those who have been ignored for too long.  Provincial parliment will be discussing income security beginning in March... now is the time to speak up and make some changes.
